HIT Entertainment, a leading provider of quality preschool entertainment, today announced the appointment of Jorge Ferreiro as Senior Vice President, Creative Resources. In this newly created role, Ferreiro will be responsible for creative services to support licensing, home entertainment and overall brand activities for HIT Entertainment's stable of premiere properties, including Barney™, Bob the Builder™, Thomas & Friends™, Angelina Ballerina™ and The Wiggles®, among others. Ferreiro is based in the Company's New York office and reports to Pat Wyatt, President, HIT Entertainment, North America.
Ferreiro joins HIT Entertainment with more than 20 years of experience in creative direction for the Entertainment and Licensing industries. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Global Creative at Sesame Workshop where he oversaw the creative work of all internal divisions, external partners, as well as the Sesame Street, Dragon Tales and Sagwa, The Chinese Siamese Cat brands. Previously, Ferreiro spent six years at Fox Family Worldwide, where he was the department head for all creative and marketing services. Prior to Fox, Ferreiro served as Creative Director for Disney Consumer Products.
