Fairyland is filled with all sorts of interesting characters - fairies, goblins, elves and pixies. Some are gentle and kind, others are naughty and mischievous. And while the fairies of Fairyland appear in the Human World, most humans can't see them! There are some special humans, however, who are friends with the fairies.
Kirsty Tate lives in Wetherbury Village with her mom and dad, and her kitten, Pearl. She met her best friend, Rachel Walker, while they were vacationing on Rainspell Island, and they share a special secret: they are the only humans who can talk to fairies, and even transform into fairies themselves!
Rachel Walker lives in Tippington Town with her parents and her dog Buttons. She appears to be a regular girl in every way. However, she shares a special secret with her best friend Kirsty Tate: they are friends with fairies, and have even transformed into fairies themselves!
King Oberon and Queen Titania rule Fairyland. They live in the Fairyland Palace, which sits atop the highest hill in Fairyland. Its towers are so high that their points are almost hidden by the fluffy white clouds that float past.
Jack Frost is a cold-hearted villain whose mission is to make life miserable for all the fairies in Fairyland. The fairies tolerate his presence, though, because they need his cold and ice to make winter. He often gets bored the rest of the year when he has nothing to do, which leads him into trouble.
The Goblins are Jack Frost's servants and aid him in all his crooked schemes. They are a clumsy bunch, though, and are always bungling their assigned tasks.
Bertram is no ordinary frog - he's one of King Oberon's footmen and works closely with the king and queen. Bertram looked after the Rainbow Fairies when they were trapped in the Human World.
Doodle is the weather vane rooster and is in charge of Fairyland's weather. His tail is made up of seven beautiful feathers, each controlling a different kind of weather. Every morning he decides what the weather conditions throughout Fairyland will be and gives each Weather Fairy the correct feather so they can go off and do their work.
