1986

• Fireman Sam makes his UK TV Debut on the BBC and Welsh Broadcaster S4C

1989

• The second series of Fireman Sam is goes into production at Siriol productions in Wales

1990

• The third series of Fireman Sam goes into production

1994

• The fourth series of Fireman Sam goes into production

2004

• Fireman Sam was nominated for a children's BAFTA for 'Sam Tan'

2005

• Fireman Sam features in the successful CBeebies live show in their seven arena tour across the UK
• Fireman Sam joins visitor theme- park, Butlins in the UK

2006

• Fireman Sam is bought by HIT Entertainment and goes into production on its fifth season
• Fireman Sam is nominated for Best TV series of Action & Adventure at the "Cartoon's on the Bay" awards, a bi-annual animation festival held in Positano
• Fireman Sam drives his trademark fire engine down Pall Mall in London as a guest at the Queen's 80th birthday party at the palace
• Fireman Sam's live stage show kicks off and attracts more than125,000 people in 50 theatres across the UK
• Fireman Sam premieres in the US on digital cable channel PBS KIDS Sprout^SM during Fire Safety Week

2007

• "Fireman Sam On Stage" is released on DVD
• Fireman Sam is broadcast in 90 countries in 25 different languages
