Angelina Ballerina™ is a little star with big dreams of becoming a prima ballerina.
Based on the best selling series of classic children's storybooks by author Katharine Holabird and illustrator Helen Craig, the Angelina Ballerina television series features the voices of Finty Williams as "Angelina" and Oscar Winner, Dame Judi Dench as her dance teacher, "Miss Lilly." The episodes follow the adventures of the little star who dances after her big dreams with grace and determination. Angelina Ballerina captures both the joys and frustrations of growing up, as the little mouseling learns that real life isn't a perfect ballet and the steps are often hard and confusing.
The animated series is set in the quaint village of Chipping Cheddar, Mouseland. There, Angelina shares the stage with her best friend Alice, young cousin Henry, rivals Priscilla and Penelope Pinkpaw, beloved dance teacher, Miss Lilly and many other colorful characters. In every performance though, it is Angelina Ballerina who steals the show as she drives the series with her passions and desires, schemes and escapades. From a fear of the high wire, to a new pet, Angelina works hard to reach her goals and learns from her mistakes. When little girls share in Angelina's experiences, they're inspired to go after their big dreams too!
